Athletics Representative transition report, Winter 2008/2009
The primary responsibilities of the Athletics Representative are as follows:
- To attend monthly meetings regarding new events, organisation and issues.
- To advertise athletics events and intramural teams.
- To manage the logistics and any issues regarding the intramural teams,
including appointing and collaborating with team captains.
- To plan and execute athletics events.
- To help out with other society events if possible.
Specific from the previous Winter 2008 term, the hockey team owes the society their
uniform deposit, which we provided in Fall 2008. This is in the amount
of $180. The captain, David Wootten (wootten@cs.dal.ca) will receive
that deposit at the end of the season (sometime in March), and has
indicated he will return it at that time.

As for the Winter 08/09 term only the Badminton event was attended.
Several email notifications had been sent for this and another rock climbing
event, however there were very few replies.
