Marcelo Velasquez's Profile

MEC Candidate, MBA Marcelo Velásquez is a research assistant and teacher assistant at the Computer Science and Management Faculty at Dalhousie University and there he is currently studying his Master of Electronic Commerce. He completed his MBA at Schulich School of Business, Toronto, Canada, which he had started at the Pontifical Catholic University, Santiago, Chile. He is a licenciate in physics and also an electronic engineer. He was chosen to be trained in E-Commerce and supply chain management at the U.S. Department of Commerce as part of the Interamerican E-Business Fellowship Program. Recently, he was selected to be an intern of Infosys Corporation at the InStep Program as part of the teams of Corporate Planning and of Enterprise Solutions, Bangalore, India. Moreover, he has working experiences as a Senior Consultant for America Movil Group, a University Lecturer and an entrepreneur. His research interests are technology innovation, entrepreneurship, E-Commerce, information systems, online marketing, supply chain management and logistics.
