FTP/MySQL Access
Dal-ACM hosts our site. They are the ones to contact if you need FTP/MySQL access or other server-related things. As of Winter 2009, the administrator of this site is Stewart Rand. Web site login credentials should be transferred at the end of each semester to new council members. Passwords for FTP and MySQL access should be changed each term.
User logins
The administrator of the site is user "webadmin". There are currently accounts for the Treasurer ("treasurer"), Secretary ("secretary"), Social Rep ("socialrep") and more. The email addresses and passwords associated with these accounts should be updated each term.
Position Listings
These are stored as tags, so that names and email addresses can be painlessly updated across the site. To update the names and email addresses of Council members, go to Administer | Site Configuration | Rep[lacement]Tags. You'll see the list there.
To use the tags, simply use the format $tag$ in the body of any page of the site. For example, if you want to insert the name of the current President of the CS Society, type $president$, and it will show up as Position Available.
