Athletics Representative transition report, Fall 2009/2010
The primary responsibilities of the Athletics Representative are as follows:
- To attend monthly meetings regarding new events, organization and issues.
- To advertise athletics events and intramural teams.
- To manage the logistics and any issues regarding the intramural teams,
including appointing and collaborating with team captains.
- To plan and execute athletics events.
- To help out with other society events if possible.

As for the Fall 09/10 term it was very successful. The ultimate frisbee co-ed
league had an average attendance as did the co-ed 3-on-3 basketball tournament.
However there were several forfeits due to poor attendance. This is something
that should be addressed next semester.
Speaking of next semester, an email was sent during November informing of the
upcoming intramural sports available. A few people sent emails with interest,
these may be made available for the next athletics representative.
