Weekly meetings of the CS Society take place in room 211 of the Goldberg Computer Science Building on Thursdays at 5:30pm.

The 2010 intramural sports season at Dal is just starting and we want you to get involved! We are organizing Computer Science teams in the following sports, and we have had lots of interest so far:

Basketball (6 players so far)
Flag Football (5 players so far)
Hockey (4 players so far)
Rock Climbing (5 players so far)
Soccer (9 players so far)
Ultimate Frisbee (12 players so far)
Volleyball (9 players so far)

The CS Society is looking for new students to be involved!

The first meeting of the semester will be tonight, Thursday the 9th, at 5:30pm in room 211 of the Goldberg Computer Science Building, right behind the Learning Centre.

We are looking to form several intramurals teams this year and we have had a lot of sign-ups so far. If you're interested in any of the intramural sports teams, contact the acting president of the society, Stewart Rand, at rand@cs.dal.ca.

The weekly barbecues will be discontinued for the month of August, as our volunteers will be away on vacation. We hope to start them back up again in September.
